Welcome to SportsTrainer.ai. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Your privacy matters to us.

Information We Collect

We collect the training videos you upload, including recorded sound, account and profile details (such as name, email, and sport preferences), coaching feedback, and basic technical data needed to run the service. The mobile app may also collect optional age-range and gender preferences for personalised peer comparisons, training plans, session records, and information you send to support.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to analyze your technique and generate coaching feedback, maintain your session history, track progress, and operate, secure, and improve SportsTrainer.ai.

AI Processing and Third Parties

Your videos and related data are processed by trusted third-party AI providers solely to generate your feedback. We do not sell your personal data and share it only with service providers who help us deliver the product.

These providers include Clerk for authentication, Apple and Google for optional social sign-in, Google Gemini for video analysis, and Replit and its infrastructure providers for hosting, databases, and stored media. When enabled in the mobile app, PostHog records product interactions associated with a pseudonymous account identifier, and Sentry receives crash and performance diagnostics that may include an account identifier. Analytics is not necessarily anonymous or aggregate. These providers may process data outside your country under their applicable safeguards. We do not use this data for third-party targeted advertising or sell it to data brokers.

If you opt into the analysis updates list, we use your email address to send those updates. Contact support to ask us to remove you from the list.

Essential Cookies and App Storage

The web app uses essential authentication and session cookies, an essential guest cookie to access a requested analysis, and functional browser storage. A sidebar_state cookie may remember navigation preferences for up to seven days. Temporary session storage preserves guest results in your browser. We do not currently use advertising cookies or optional analytics cookies in the web app. In the mobile app, secure app storage keeps you signed in and preserves requested preferences and upload-recovery state.

Retention and Your Choices

Temporary source files are removed after processing or after failed or abandoned uploads. Stored coaching results, clean and annotated result videos, highlights, and session records may remain while your account is active so you can review and export them. Unclaimed free guest results expire after 24 hours; creating an account can claim the result and save it to your history. Paid anonymous checkout is a separate flow. Guest uploads are processed on our servers, not only on your device.

You can delete your account in Settings. Account deletion deletes or anonymises associated analyses, stored media, preferences, and related personal data, except limited records retained for fraud prevention, legal, accounting, or compliance purposes. Backups and operational logs follow their normal retention cycles. You can access, update, or delete information from within the app or by contacting support.

Children

SportsTrainer.ai is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
